There is 25 kilometres of fire-affected rail line in both directions from Mount Victoria to Lithgow. We have hundreds of staff out in the fire-affected regions helping to coordinate the response. This includes managing closures on the ground, directing customers to alternative routes, engineering and arborist teams inspecting roads and rail line conditions, crews clearing vegetation and debris, and teams developing and delivering work programs to address longer term infrastructure/asset needs.
