Regional NSW story

There are big plans for regional NSW that will help people get easier access to the services they need across the state.

People who live in regional NSW have concerns about the roads and safety. They would also like more public transport options and better connections to other regional centres and cities.

Use the the instructions below and the links on this page to build out an effective story for each region.

How to tailor the story to a regional audience

  1. Download the regional NSW story and use as much of the existing content as possible.

  2. Refresh your memory on how to build effective proof points or examples.

  3. Demonstrate that we have already delivered. If you need more proof points, use the regional links on this page, or the interactive map on the Future Transport site.

  4. Identify projects that will be delivered in the next 5-8 years. Some are already in the story, or again use the regional links on this page or the Future Transport site.

Please note:

  • The state-wide narrative should be used if your audience is broader than regional NSW
  • The facts in the proof points on the right were checked and updated in April 2019. They will be regularly updated, however you should always check your communication with a subject matter expert before publishing.
