Foundation planning (phase 3A) is underway. This phase about clearly identifying who we are and what we do – our purpose, functions, interdependencies and decision rights.

A cross section of people from across the division recently took part in workshops to work through what this means for our division.

Draft Purpose:

To make sure Transport has the right people, culture and workforce solutions, now and into the future

Draft Accountabilities:

So our people can deliver business outcomes, including exceptional journeys and vibrant communities, People & Culture will:

  • Drive to create a culture that puts customer at the centre, people at the heart, and works together for the greater good
  • Create a work environment where all people are included, respected and valued
  • Partner with our clients, providing workforce advice and solutions
  • Ensure the Transport Cluster can attract and select the best people
  • Create learning experiences that unlock the power of our people
  • Develop and support leaders for now and the future
  • Bring to life a best in class end-to-end people experience
  • Lead core workforce relations, workforce management and workplace conduct functions
