The Rail Operations Centre celebrated International Women’s Day with a morning tea on Level 1 and the Control Room Floor. This year’s theme, #EachforEqual, celebrates the achievements of women and called for everyone to act towards changing their individual mindsets, conversations and behaviors to create a gender equal world. Chief Customer Officer Suzanne Holden spoke at the event and emphasised this year’s theme is not just about women, it’s about equality. “It’s about making sure whether you are female or male, you get the same access to education, to healthcare, to professional support and development, to work life balance,” said Suzanne.
