Open Data Day is an annual celebration of open data. People come together all over the world at local events to promote open data, showcase innovative uses of open data in their communities, and encourage the adoption of open data policies in government, business and civil society. 9 pitches were presented from innovators, startups and developers. From the nine, three were awarded prizes; for Best Pitch, Best Use of Customer Focused Open Data, and People’s Choice for the crowd favourite.
