The upgrade of the Auburn Maintenance Centre to support maintenance of the initial 24 Waratah Series 2 trains and the move of the Millennium fleet is now complete. Work on the Auburn Maintenance Centre (AMC) began in March 2019, increasing stabling capacity from 125 trains to 142 trains. The upgrade prepares the way for homing the additional 17 Waratah Series 2 Sets.
