  • New Cyber Safety Online Curriculum

    supporting image

    Hi VET Cadets,

You may have received an email regarding the new Cyber Safety Online Curriculum.

As part of the TfNSW Cyber Uplift Program which aims to increase awareness of cyber-security obligations for new employees and their managers, a new cyber safety curriculum has been developed for this.

The new cyber safety curriculum composes of a series of online modules available through the Equip LMS. A pilot of the new curriculum will be scheduled across the different agencies beginning this week. An online survey will be sent thereafter to gather feedback from nominated users about the overall user experience.

Please log into Equip and complete any online modules assigned to you.

  • It's the end of an era!

Last week we farewelled one of ELTP’s originals – Nayna Sheikh (pictured left)! Nayna has been with ELTP since the team was established, working across the tertiary scholar and cadet space and more recently in the VET Cadet and HSC Scholar space. Nayna has always displayed passion for her work, generously giving her time and attention to both talent participants and our stakeholders across the business over the last six years.

A very big thank you to Nayna from the ELTP team, your expertise and enthusiasm will be sorely missed!

Paula Meneses (pictured right) will be leading the VET Cadet program with the support of Ben Lowe (pictured centre). Paula has already been managing the VET Cadet program for the last 3 years and will continue to be the main point of contact for the program. Ben has been working in the ELTP team as a Community Engagement Officer since 2016 and has a wealth of experience working with Aboriginal and regional communities. Ben will be assisting in managing the VET Cadet program and like Paula, will be coming out to meet with VET Cadets and their placement managers regularly.

We look forward to continuing to deliver excellence in the VET Cadet space, please feel free to reach out to Paula on 0429 966 081 or Ben on 0435 659 199 should you have any questions or concerns.
