Each week through the ELTP Blasts and Talent HQ – ELTP Announcements, we’ll be inviting you to be part of these projects by submitting an Expressions of Interest (EOI) to the Project Sponsor. Please speak to your Placement Manager prior to submitting an EOI to seek their endorsement.

Our first EOI is the Onboarding Process. This is an exciting project to help up revamp how we on-board new recruits. Please refer to this document for more information and send your EOI through to Gabrielle.Puskas@transport.nsw.gov.au

    Hi everyone,

With an increasing number of Coronavirus cases emerging in countries around the world, it's a worrying time for everyone in Transport and our community. We are here to support you.

Please find below the latest -

    • From 16 March onwards, if you have returned to Australia from overseas from any country you must self-isolate for 14 days from the day you arrive back in Australia as a precaution and monitor yourself for symptoms. You should discuss with your manager about working from home if you are not showing any symptoms. If you cannot perform work from home, Special Leave will be granted for a period of up to 20 days at your Managers discretion
    • People who have been in close contact with any confirmed COVID-19 case must remain isolated at home for 14 days following exposure. You should discuss with your manager about working from home if you are not showing any symptoms. If you cannot perform work from home, Special Leave will be granted for a period of up to 20 days at your Managers discretion
    • Any employee can work from home if directed by their Manager

We have received an influx of IT requests as more Managers encourage their teams to work from home and are currently working through these. We encourage you to take your laptop home with you each day if possible, just in case the situation changes overnight. You might also like to 'test' your access to see if you need to raise an IT request. Most duties should be possible from home, such as sending emails without remote access granted. Please only submit this type of request if you need to access the drive or intranet (those not on Windows 10 only). Speak to your Manager to determine what you requirements are.

At this stage, if you have not been directed to work from home, please exercise caution. Clean your hands with soap and water, or hand sanitiser. Cover your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze. Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms and stay home if you are sick.

If you have any questions please email TalentPrograms@transport.nsw.gov.au
