Voting guide & information

Voting on the proposed Enterprise Agreement will be open from 10am 24 January 2023 to 10am 30 January 2023.

The vote will be conducted by an independent company, Vero Voting, who will send details about how to vote, including your individual username and PIN, to your work email address.

Make sure you check your email for correspondence from Vero and know your password.

How to access your work email address via webmail

You can access your Transport email via webmail and use your Transport login credentials via the link – https://outlook.office.com/mail/. For detailed instructions, please see how to access webmail (Transport email address).

For employees overseas, follow these additional guidelines.

How to vote

Using the unique Username and PIN provided to you by Vero Voting, you can vote by:

  • Online – using an internet browser (Chrome is preferred), go to: NSWTrainLink.verovoting.com.au/

  • Phone – Call 1800 865 180 and follow the prompts

  • SMS – If you have a mobile phone number registered in Equip, you’ll receive an SMS from Vero Voting asking whether you support the proposed Enterprise Agreement. Reply to this SMS with a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.

Please note: Only votes lodged within the voting period can be counted. Employees can only vote once. All votes are confidential.

Who can vote?

Anyone who is covered by the current Enterprise Agreement is eligible to cast a vote on the 2022 Enterprise Agreement.


What happens after the vote closes?

After the votes have been counted, Vero Voting will notify us of the result.

If more than 50% of employees who cast a ballot vote ‘yes’, the 2022 Enterprise Agreement will then go to the Fair Work Commission for approval.
