Engaging, creative, and mobile compliant!
Embracing Transport's "Safety" value, the Design Team collaborated with NSW TrainLink to shift the mindset across the agency from compliance to “this is how we do things around here”, with an emphasis on engaging employees to exhibit the four Universal Safety Responsibilities:
- Avoid causing harm
- Avoid taking unjustifiable risks
- Follow the Safety Management System
- Be prepared to work safely
To drive the business along this journey, we designed the Safety Essentials training program to provide all TrainLink employees with an overview of safety management and to target two priority topics: hazardous manual tasks, and hazardous goods & chemicals.
The program was designed to be highly engaging, adopting a micro-learning approach, rich in multimedia, and compatible with the target audience's mobile devices (iPhones).
