A worker inspects the completed city-bound metro tunnel about 25 metres underground near the site of the new Waterloo Station. This section of the tunnels has been handed over by our tunnel builders John Holland CPB Ghella to the next contractor, Systems Connect, to start laying tracks and installing overhead wiring and services. Sydney Metro through the city is on track to open in 2024.
