2022 Enterprise Agreement

We are pleased to announce that collectively our people voted in favour of the Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Enterprise Agreement 2022. It will operate from 17 February 2023 until 1 May 2024.

What’s in the new Enterprise Agreement?

The Agreement and Deed

  • There will be one Enterprise Agreement covering both Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink
  • The new EA will have a nominal expiry date of 1 May 2024
  • The Rail Redundancy Deed will be renewed for the life of the Agreement, with some improvements, providing better access to career transition services.

Wage increase

  • Annual wage increases of:
    • 3.53% plus super, in the first year, backdated to 1 May 2022 (noting the super increase has already been paid since 1 July 2022)
    • 4.03% plus super, in the second year, from 1 May 2023
  • A one-off payment of $4,500 (further super is payable on this amount) would be paid following a valid vote where a majority of employees support the Enterprise Agreement.
