    In NSW Maritime I've noticed women are being selected to take on Acting roles when senior mangers are away. This is a great opportunity for those women to gain solid experience, build their networks and demonstrate their capabilities. For the wider workforce, having women selected for senior Acting roles helps normalize women in leadership. Its awful to even write that, but the reality is we don't traditionally see women in leadership - so making it normal is a solid step.
