Profile of Mary Draper

My primary role within Learning Operations is to manage our panel of training providers to ensure quality service to the Cluster. Sitting behind this aspect of my role is to provide seamless end-to-end processes from the session set-up by our team through to accurate financial reporting.

I have had a long career in organizational development with a number of entities and am excited by what Transport aims to achieve in OD.

Our roles titles do not define the people we are. Do you have a talent that people may not know about you? Outside of the workplace I enjoy creating with my hands whether it be in the garden (a horticulturist in a previous life) or re-purposing furniture. If there is a piece of furniture on the side of the road, I always look!

What would you tell your teenage self if you could go back in time? Do more, life is shorter than you think

What is your go to music when you can't decide what to listen to? Paul Kelly or Mumford and Sons

Where is the most interesting place you've been? Can't decide - Russia, Egypt and Cambodia are all amazing places with astounding history

What's your biggest screw up in the kitchen? Anything I cook is really not good. Luckily my husband loves cooking.

What ridiculous thing has someone tricked you into believing? Hey, I thought Santa was real for quite a while!!
