The future is now!

Getting around can be a challenge for our regional and rural neighbours, but driverless vehicles could change all that – and they may not be as far away as we think!

Last week, the NSW Government opened EOIs for our next automated vehicle trail - and this time, the focus is on the regions.

Over the next few months technology leaders, industry innovators, transport operators and educators will jostle for the opportunity to help us shape the future of regional NSW.

If we get it right, the pay offs could be huge – autonomous vehicles have the potential to literally transform the lives of our rural customers; reducing isolation, improving mobility, and saving lives on country roads.
