Graduate Development Workshop: Superannuation and personal budgeting

Do you have a personal budget? If the answer is ‘no’, then you’re one of the 86% of Australians who don’t keep track of their monthly spending. Many people shrink away when they hear the word, but budgeting is simply balancing your expenses with your income. If you get it right, you’ll always have the money for what you need, and you’ll be able to plan ahead for things you want – like a holiday, car or home. In this session, we’ll show you how to identify your expenses, create a personal budget and plan for the future – including retirement!

Why should you come? Knowing where your money is going is empowering – it can take a lot of stress out of your life. You don’t need to worry about your card declining just before pay day, you don’t need to eat two minute noodles for a fortnight because your car rego is due, you don’t need to pay hundreds of dollars of interest on your credit card. Plus, if you make some wise financial decisions now – you will set yourself up for a comfortable life in the future. The choice is yours.

Please note: this is part of the Graduate Development Program and is available to graduates only.
