Milestone Moments – Sydney Metro skytrain now complete

Major construction on Sydney Metro’s landmark new railway bridge at Rouse Hill is now complete, marking another awesome achievement delivered by our people.

After 173 kilometres of steel cabling, 88 massive concrete segments and over 4600 people working together, the Windsor Road bridge is now ready for track laying.

The 270m long bridge will carry trains every four minutes in peak times when Sydney Metro services start in 2019 – a truly game-changing project for the people of Sydney.

A big congrats to the Sydney Metro team who made it all possible.
