A group of mature-age apprentices has joined the Parramatta Light Rail project, supporting the NSW Government’s commitment to job creation during the COVID-19 pandemic. The six apprentices, aged in their 30s, 40s and 50s, are undertaking civil construction apprenticeships on the project, which connects Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD.
