Meet some of the new Customer Management Taskforce – pictured above in their headquarters upstairs at the ROC. They have begun operations and are breaking new ground in monitoring physical distancing around the network in close to real time. This 70-strong team will help better manage customer flow and crowding, including: monitor more than 11,000 CCTV cameras at stations and platforms, as well as from the ground, to capture vital loading and crowding data, identifying potential crowding hot spots and act in real time to deploy an agile response team to help manage issues associated with crowding and customer flow across the network.
