This barge is how the giant front pieces of mega borer Kathleen were returned from Blues Point to Barangaroo, where she is being reassembled to start building the second metro railway tunnel deep under Sydney Harbour. This specialised TBM is named after Kathleen Butler, who played a vital role in the construction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge​ as the technical advisor to legendary engineer, John JJC Bradfield.
