The Service Delivery & Asset Management Branch of Transport for NSW recently took a technical tour of Auburn Maintenance Centre. The centre is responsible for the maintenance of Sydney Trains A-Set fleet and has seven maintenance roads with capacity for 1,000 cars, an automatic train wash plant, and an underfloor wheel profiling lathe.
