Our vision for the future of transport

NSW is evolving at an exciting pace. Who we are, where we live, where we work and how we travel is changing.

New technologies, population growth, changing lifestyles and travel patterns, urban development and environmental factors mean that NSW will be dramatically different by 2056.

On Monday 31 October, we held our first cluster-wide staff livestreaming and interactive event to update you on our planning for the future of transport in NSW. Around 1000 staff tuned in at over 30 work locations across NSW to hear about it and ask questions directly of our leaders.

If you missed it, you can watch the video playback to hear insights from Clare Gardiner-Barnes (Dep Sec Freight Strategy and Planning) and Peter Regan (Dep Sec Finance and Investment) on some of the challenges and opportunities we need to consider as we develop our long term plan.

Watch the video playback and select 'launch presentation'.
