NAIDOC Week 2020

The National NAIDOC Committee has decided to postpone NAIDOC Week 2020 (5 July - 12 July) in the interest of safety for our communities.

The National NAIDOC Committee taken on-board the advice from the Federal Government, health experts, our key partners and from leading national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health organisations.

NAIDOC Week has been postponed to 8 November – 15 November 2020.

This year’s theme is ‘Always Was, Always Will Be’. This theme recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years.

We are excited to announce that Transport for NSW is in the planning stages to celebrate our cluster wide NAIDOC Week.

How can you get involved?

  • Reach out to the RAP Team for involvement
  • Hold a team brainstorming session on ways to celebrate
  • Participate in a local community NAIDOC Week event. Lookout for events here.
  • Learn more about the week at NAIDOC.org.au

We look forward to celebrating this important week with you all.
