A unique testing approach…

It seems that our new Sydney Light Rail has reached an intriguing new phase of testing...

Last week saw one of Sydney’s new trams loaded with 24 tonnes of sandbags to simulate a load full of passengers!

The vehicle reached speeds of 70km/h and even simulated some adverse conditions with soapy water on the tracks.
