Updated Recruitment Policy

The Transport Recruitment and Filling Vacancies Policy was updated on 8 February 2019 (here). This policy reflects the new recruitment model being led by the Talent team in TfNSW.

One practical impact of this change is that the Director Talent has confirmed that the requirement for one member of a recruitment panel to undertake merit selection training can be met using an online module here rather than attending the BSC11 Merit Selection course. Although you can still attend this course if you would like to practice your recruitment skills.

Disability Awareness eLearning modules are now available

The Public Service Commission, in collaboration with sector employees and experts, has developed two e-learning modules to improve disability awareness among NSW public sector employees.

Understanding how to communicate inclusively and make work practices accessible will help us provide quality services to the people of NSW.

The Disability Awareness Modules provide guidance on what to KNOW, SAY and DO to work respectfully with people with disability.

There are two modules, one for all employees and one for managers. They aim to build knowledge about disability, test existing preconceptions and views, and support people to create positive workplace cultures.

An agency implementation guide has also been prepared detailing how these modules could be completed with suggested ways to engage your workforce with the content.

Available Training (see Equip to register)

  • ERP0127F Equip - HR Reporting for Managers
  • ERP1104F Equip - ICM - Health Assessments and Health Monitoring
  • ERP3108F Equip - For HR Business Partners
