Milestone Moments - By George... would you look at that light rail!

Take a look Sydney... here’s one of the first glimpses at our city’s light rail transformation that’s just opened between Park and King Streets.

The fencing and barriers have been removed in this stretch near the QVB opening the street up to pedestrians for the first time.

The extra space will allow for more shoppers during the busy Christmas retail period, along with a festive makeover including giant wreaths and more than 5,000 suspended lights installed along the boulevard for the holiday season.

A shout out to the Sydney Light Rail team who have worked long and hard to make this major milestone moment happen. Well done!
