ELTP goes Bush!

As we enter May, Entry Level Talent Programs (ELTP) will begin a Regional Campaign to promote the wide array of opportunities available within the Transport cluster. We hope to attract motivated and engaged individuals as we embark on the largest infrastructure boom in Australian history.

Careers fairs provide an important platform for TfNSW to engage with High School and University students to promote employment opportunities within ELTP. Participation in regional careers fairs are part of the wider 2020 ELTP Recruitment campaign. This campaign focuses on strengthening community engagement and awareness of TfNSW in regional areas.

To maximise efficiency, ELTP Team members will combine career fairs with participant catch ups for those in regional areas. These visits will combine general catch ups and development sessions.

Historically, the ELTP team have focused on careers fairs in the Sydney Metropolitan area. Now it is time to broaden our exposure in NSW, from border to border. By attending career fairs in multiple regions we will access a larger pool of participants to the benefit of all disciplines across the Transport cluster.

Hope to see all you regional Talent participants soon!

Talent News catch up

On Friday 12 April, the Talent News team caught up with the Talent Programs to reflect on the past 10 months of Talent News.

It was a fantastic opportunity to discuss how the team can work better together, improve on communications skills and think about ways to improve content. The day was filled with so much enthusiasm, great ideas and lots of networking.

We want to thank the team for their hard work and efforts in consistently bringing us such exciting editions every month. Some of the amazing Talent News statistics include:

  • The most popular edition is January 2019.
  • The most popular monthly articles are the updates from ELTP.
  • The most popular article is Talent Forum.

Talent News is working on getting their own mailbox but in the meantime, please email Talent Programs if you have any article ideas or would like to join the Talent News team.
