Nudie Australian Boardriders Battle | Newcastle Beach, Newcastle | Saturday 15 - Sunday 16 February 2020

The Nudie Australian Boardriders Battle is Australia’s biggest grassroots boardriders’ event and involves more than 60 of Australia’s best boardrider clubs! This surfboarding activity is taking place across eight state-qualifying rounds, only 24 clubs will come together at the National Final in Newcastle to battle it out to become the 2019/20 Australian Champions.



2020 Grafton Wheelchair Open | Grafton City Tennis Club, Grafton | Saturday 29 February - Sunday 1 March 2020

The Australian Wheelchair Tennis season is set to host some of the world’s best local and international players as they prepare for the prestigious Australian Open.

Over the summer, Tennis Australia is rolling out a range of international, national and social wheelchair tennis events set to increase awareness, participation and international experience for current and aspiring players and one of those is in Grafton. Be sure to check it out and support these amazing athletes battle it out for the gold trophy.

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras | Various Locations, Sydney | Friday 14 February – Monday 2 March 2020

The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (SGLMG) is the world’s joyous and spectacular celebration of LGBTQI pride. It involves a number of events throughout the city to celebrate and promote social justice for LGBTQI communities. Events that deserve a special mention and should be on your bucket list are Queer Thinking, Family Fun Day, Pool Party, Koori Gras: Blak Nulla, Film Festival and of course the most popular of all… the parade.


Sydney St Patrick's Day | First Fleet Park, The Rocks | Sunday 15 March

St Patrick's Day will be returning to The Rocks again this year, where the streets will transform into an Irish Village in celebration. With live music, entertainment, traditional Irish dancing and delicious treats on offer all day, head down and join the fun on Sunday 15 March.
