Good Things Festival | Centennial Park, Sydney | Friday 6 December - Sunday 8 December 2019

Edging away from mainstream music, Good Things Festival started last year and showcases Australian alternative music. This year hosts an exciting line-up which includes bands and artists such as Simple Plan and The Veronicas.

Lights of Christmas | St Mary's Cathedral Square, College Street, Sydney | Thursday 5 December - Wednesday 25 December 2019

Open Hours: 7:30pm - 11pm, except 24 December (open until midnight)

Celebrating its 10th year, Lights of Christmas features a magnificent array of community choirs, performers and traditional tales of Christmas. Similar to VIVID Sydney, the event is a festival of the senses, drawing on sound, light projection, and the ever-appreciated presence of food. With free entry, the Lights of Christmas is one for all!

Lavender Herb and Chilli Festival | Crystal Brook, 257 Tyrl Tyrl Road, Laggan NSW 2583 | Saturday 11 – Sunday 12 January 2020

Studio Ghibli Summer Festival | Art Gallery NSW | Saturday 11 January - Saturday 8 February 2020

Led by Hayao Miyuzaki, Studio Ghibli is renowned for its animations inspired by Japanese folklore and art. Take the chance to revisit or discover pop culture favourites such as Spirited Away, My neighbour Totoro, and Princess Mononoke.
