The 2019 Christmas closedown period is from Monday 23 January to Friday 3 January. Christmas Flex can only be used for the period 23 December – 3 January; if you do not have enough leave accrued outside designated public holidays you will have to take annual leave.
The Public Service Holiday for 2019 is Friday 27 December; ensure this is inputted as a Public Holiday on your timesheet.
2019 Talent Forum Highlights
The annual Talent Forum was held on Friday 29 November at Doltone House, Darling Island. The forum celebrated a year of achievements from ELTP participants and included a motivating talk on the impact of technology on mental health from Molly Roche of Octave Temple.
After a buffet lunch, there was also a panel consisting of Sam Cummins, Carolyn Bailey, Greg Hawthorn, Adam Turrell and Gabby Puskas, who answered insightful and challenging questions focusing on emerging professionals. Rodd Staples was warmly welcomed to present the Entry Level Talent Recognition Awards.
