Our Real-time Intelligent Transport Assistant (RITA) has taken out the award for Most Innovative and Intelligent Bot for Customer Service at the recent Intelligent Innovation 2018 awards.
RITA is our Transport bot that provides service updates and real-time information for all modes of public transport via Facebook Messenger, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
After launching just late last year, RITA already handles nearly 9,000 customer queries per month.
The award is testament to the hard work and vision of the Automation and Social Media team within Customer Services Division at Transport for NSW.
