Introducing the ROC – our brand new Rail Operations Centre at Green Square.
In an historic first for Australia, the facility will take network control to a new level – bringing everyone that manages trains or deals with customer decisions together for the first time in a single, purpose-built, 24/7, high-tech control centre.
Just this week, the first 160 staff moved in and over 500 more will make the move next year before we flick the switch on the new integrated, collaborative control floor.
With the ROC, we’ll be able to manage more trains more effectively. Customers will notice faster, safer and more reliable journeys, while receiving better information about their journey.
And when incidents do occur, key people will be notified instantly, communication will be easy and our response will be coordinated so our customers are back on their way as soon as possible.
