Pets of Transport - Get to know Prince and Valley and their human Yasmine
Introducing you to Prince and Valley, two of our Pets of Transport. Today they'll be telling us a bit about themselves and their human, Yasmine Shahatet, Customer Relations Officer at the Transport Management Centre.
What does your human do at Transport?
Yasmine is a Customer Relations Officer at the Transport Management Centre (TMC) located in Eveleigh. The Transport Management Centre works closely with other Government agencies to maximise the safety and efficiency of the NSW Road network.
What’s the strangest or most interesting thing your human does?
Our human worked as a qualified chef before changing careers to fulfil her wish to help others - she worked at Sydney Trains as a Customer Service Representative for 7 years working at many busy Sydney Train Stations including, Central, Town Hall and Kings Cross before landing a dream job at the Transport Management Centre.
What do you get up to while your human is at work?
We love chewing on bones, barking at birds, chasing our own tails and napping in the sun. We sometimes dig big holes in the yard trying to get to china (we love dumplings). But thanks to TfNSW Flexible working conditions, our human is sometimes home during the day to play with us at her break time - which makes us feel like puppies again!
