Train Location System (TLS)

The TLS is an information system that indicates the general location of trains based on multiple data inputs. It also associates customer information and performance indications against time tables. Importantly, the TLS does not show specific track occupancy of rail traffic and therefore must not be used to make critical safety decisions.

Information about the specific location of rail traffic must be obtained only from purpose designed signalling equipment. Signallers, upon request can provide this information.
