Large team gatherings

While the risk of infection within teams is low, Dr Armand Casolin, our Chief Health Officer, advises that in line with guidance from NSW Health and the Australian Government, large team gatherings, staff forums and briefings should be limited. Instead we are promoting the use of collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams for meetings, livestream events and collaboration.

Please note that ‘gatherings’ does not refer to normal workplace or office environments where hundreds of people might co-exist in an area.

Here’s some handy guidance on how to use Microsoft Teams:

• Create a scheduled team meeting
• Join a scheduled Microsoft Teams meeting from anywhere
• Set up an Instant Teams meeting – an unscheduled phone or video connection with one or more participants
• Host a Microsoft Teams Live Event – broadcast an event to a large audience
• Join a Microsoft Teams Live Event
