  • LEADER ALLIANCE

On Thursday 19 October, more than 250 Transport leaders attended the biannual Leader Alliance event. The theme of this event was Leading the future now which examined the constant need to evolve and lead our people through change.

The day involved a range of workshops and presentations including a keynote speech by Dom Price, Head of Research and Development and Work Futurist at Atlassian.

All leaders have been provided with resources and tools to brief you in more detail over coming weeks, but in the meantime you can Watch the highlights video.

  • SPECIAL GUEST

Last week Yvette King from our Infrastructure and Services Division spent a week shadowing Paul Passmore.

This provided an opportunity for Yvette to witness firsthand the challenges of leading a large team within TfNSW and for Paul to benefit from the unique experience Yvette brought to the table in the meetings and events they attended together.

During the week, Yvette attended the Leader Alliance event, co-chaired the TfNSW Awards Panel with Paul and attended all of Paul's scheduled meetings.

Paul found the experience to be extremely rewarding and felt he learnt at least as much from his time with Yvette as she may have learnt from shadowing him. Paul said “this is something I would encourage all leaders to experience – Yvette has some brilliant ideas and great insights and sharing my week with her was one of the best experiences I have had as a senior leader in Transport for NSW”
