Becoming more diverse and agile

We’ve recently launched a new cluster-wide Flexible Work Arrangements Policy, which sets consistent principles for flexible working across all the Transport agencies.

These principles support us to become more diverse and agile. It also supports our people to do their job effectively, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Each agency has their own flexible working arrangements procedure that suits their particular operating environment and explains how to implement arrangements locally.

The policy and procedure provide the framework but it’s up to us as individuals, teams and managers to make flexibility work. The best place to start is by having a conversation about what could work for the individual and the business.

There is a whole range of case studies, tool kits and videos to support you.
