Welcome to Evolving Transport News, your guide to what is happening in the world of Evolving Transport. In every edition you will hear news and key updates from across the 13 workstreams that make up our program of transformation. We’ve made some changes to the ET website with all workstream roadmaps containing the most up-to-date info. Check it out!

All about Leadership Culture & Behaviours

The Leadership, Culture and Behaviours workstream is well and truly underway in supporting our business and our people through Evolving Transport. This stream in particular is one that underpins the whole Evolving Transport Transformation Program. Watch the video to hear more from the Workstream Lead, Stephanie Polihronas.

An update from Governance on Enterprise Assurance, Risk and Audit

As part of the Enterprise Assurance, Risk and Audit commitment, we have developed a simple process for running risk workshops to support you with your Risk accountability. It will help you identity the minimum information you will need to collect as part of identifying the risks in your division.

There are a number of risk assessment tools and techniques that you can use based on what works best for your division.

Branch design process moves ahead

The pace is starting to pick up on organisational design with all 40 branches either commencing design soon and one now in formal consultation (CST – Freight).

After designs are completed, whether your branch is in Group A, B, or C, the proposed structure will progress from formal consultation to a final approved structure (called 'determination') and then on to implementation.

At each of these stages, work goes on behind the scenes to follow a fair and consistent placement process for filling the new structure. Some of this happens before consultation (where roles in the proposed structure are the same or very similar to existing roles), and the remainder of the roles will be filled after determination using processes run through the Talent team.

Visit the Evolving Transport roles, placement, and recruitment webpage to keep up-to-date with the latest information on our placement approach, workshops to help you update your resume and improve on your interview skills, role opportunities to keep an eye on, question and answers, and support during this change

Updating our online forms in MyTransport

Over the coming months, you will see some changes in MyTransport such as RMS no longer being a selectable option in certain forms and search filters, RMS knowledge articles transferred to Transport for NSW and updated My Transport User profiles. This is all part of the process of becoming one Transport.
