CRANK up the radio!!!

The Late Shift’ has taken out the overall WINNER for the Best Content campaign of 2017 at the Festival of Media North America.

By analysing fatigue incident data, the Centre for Road Safety discovered around half of crashes involving fatigue in metro areas happen between midnight and 6am. Interestingly, it was also discovered that ‘cranking’ up the radio was how people often keep themselves alert.

Thus, “The Late Shift” show on Nova 96.9 was born - a dedicated radio program from 1-6am targeting shift workers and tradies who are up at this time.

The result was a new radio format for this timeslot that encouraged listeners to think about the risks of driving tired whist helping them make smarter choices.
