Connecting Forum wraps up for 2017

On Friday morning women who participated in the Connecting Forum program throughout the year reconnected over morning tea.

The Connecting Forum program was designed to equip up and coming leaders from across Transport with the tools to build their personal brand and give them opportunities to create strong networks within the business.

Over the course of 2017, 6 groups, made up of 107 women from across Transport participated in the program. As part of the program, 17 senior leaders shared their personal leadership journey, providing inspiration and useful tips that they found valuable during their career.

Guest speakers at the event included Kristen Watson, Executive Director, People and Culture, Kate Williams, Principal at Milan Partners and Tanya Pelja, Manager of Safety Programs at STA, a participant of the program.

Tanya shared her personal story and how the program helped build her confidence in the workforce.

The program is already making an impact with 26% of participants either being promoted or taking on secondments since they completed the program.
