And the winners are... Drum roll...

Thanks to everyone from across the cluster who gave their feedback in the Future Transport survey and entered our staff competition. Your feedback about the way you travel and the types of transport you want to see in the future will help us to shape our new Future Transport Strategy for NSW for the next 40 years – exciting stuff!

Congratulations to our four lucky winners: Sonia Bertram, Elvis Earle, Merhej Elali and Katie Mackenzie! They will be flying to Brisbane next week to attend the International Transport Systems (ITS) summit – a fantastic opportunity for them to mix with transport experts from around the world and hear about cutting-edge transport technologies.

What are they most excited to learn about at the ITS Summit? Here is what they told us:

- Sonia Bertram, Area Customer Service Manager - NSW TrainLink
“Being able to see and hear about new transport systems which could revolutionise transport in regional areas - which has unique challenges - would be a privilege.”

- Elvis Earle Network Operations- Hunter and Central Coast Regions - Roads and Maritime
“I’d like to expand on my Network Operations experience, observe cutting edge transport technologies and consider how they can add value for our customers travelling in NSW. “

- Merhej Elali Customer Service Attendant - Sydney Trains
“I really want to take the opportunity to further improve and support our frontline teams, share innovative ideas and work smarter for great customer service.”

- Katie Mackenzie Environment and Planning Manager - Transport for NSW
“Working in environmental planning, I’d love to discuss how intelligent transport systems could reduce the environmental impact of transport now and into the future.”

Stay tuned!

We can’t wait to hear all about it when they return.

A Big Congratulations to the winners and thank you again to all those who entered the competition to help shape the future of transport.
