This week, the Smart Innovation Centre and On Demand transport team launched a new fully-automated passenger shuttle trial in Coffs Harbour – a first for regional NSW. The driverless technology has the potential to make our vehicles safer, improve mobility and help save lives on our roads.
Congratulations to the teams for getting this exciting trial up and running.
Fancy taking a ride? The shuttle is taking passengers 8am-12pm every day except Sunday on the Northern Breakwall. If you’re near Coffs Harbour over the Christmas break, come and check it out and hop on board!
And that’s not all… another automated shuttle trial will be launching in Armidale soon. So stay tuned!
