Celebrating our Aboriginal employees

On Tuesday 2 May, we held our second Transport Aboriginal Staff Forum with around 170 participants from across the Transport cluster, an increase of 50 on last year. Watch the highlights video to get an overview of the day, and you can also see Tim Reardon and guest speaker Stan Grant’s speeches in full. At the forum we also launched a new Transport Aboriginal Online Community, a site that's only for Aboriginal employees where they can connect, interact, get information and resources and have frank discussions about issues and challenges. If you have Aboriginal employees in your team, encourage them to contact Diversity and Inclusion to get access to the site.

This month we also launched our new recruitment campaign, ‘Creating Paths Together’ which showcases the range of career opportunities we can offer Aboriginal people who want to make an impact in their communities through a career at Transport. If you see the ads on your Facebook and LinkedIn, feel free to like it and share it with your friends and colleagues.
