It can be a confusing time when it comes to how best to care for our customers. There’s a lot of misinformation on COVID-19 that we need to dispel so we can continue to deliver a superior customer service.

Naturally, there’s a lot of concern about customers with flu-like symptoms. According to Dr Armand Casolin, our Chief Health Officer, it remains very unlikely that they are infected with Coronavirus. You can see him talk about customers the video below.

We need our teams to know to follow our normal procedures in the same way they treat any customer that looks unwell. This is where you come in and can remind and reassure them.

If employees are still concerned about a sick customer, they can ask the customer (nicely of course) to contact Healthdirect on 1800 022 222 and continue to support them on their onward journey.
