Brett – Up, up and away, our very own Superman!

He can’t fly but boy can he prevent a mighty crisis! State Transit Bus Driver, Brett Lane, stepped in to save the day when one of our customers realised they were missing some very important belongings.

A 19 year-old student who had travelled from Kensington to Sydney Airport on Brett’s bus was excited to be setting off on a month-long holiday to China. But it wasn’t until she was about to check in that she realised her backpack containing her passport, wallet and iPad was missing. She had indeed left it on the bus.

With only a couple of hours until her flight was due to depart, Brett confirmed with our Network Control Centre that he had in fact located the backpack on his bus. He then raced against the clock to deliver the prized possessions back to the student in time for her flight!

“Getting our passengers safely to their destination is the priority, ideally with all their belongings. I’m happy we could help just in the nick of time because without that passport she would’ve missed the flight.” Brett said.

Way to go, Brett!
