My turn again – gosh, it comes around so fast!! Short and sweet this week….

Safety Moment

  • I thought I would focus on wellbeing and mindfulness for our ‘Loop safety moment’
  • Mindfulness is the practice of being present for every single moment as it comes and being aware of your surroundings, emotions and thoughts without being judgmental.
  • It is an incredibly powerful and useful tool to incorporate into your everyday life, but it can be especially helpful at work.
  • My mindfulness quote today is: “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion”.Dalai Lama

Reminder PDRs and goal planning:

  • PDR review for 16/17 have just been closed out
  • If you haven’t completed yours it’s now overdue
  • Start thinking about your 17/18 goal planning, which must be complete and approved by 29th September.
  • To assist, there will be a couple of goals cascaded by your manager in the upcoming weeks.

Welcomes and Farewell’s

An update from Paul’s office:

  • Rebecca Duffy has returned from maternity leave part-time (working Monday & Wednesday) as Business Manager.
  • Natalie Moore will continue to work with Rebecca in this role until October to progressively transition work.
  • Please feel free to stop by and see Bec, she would love to hear what great work which has been delivered over the last months.
  • Farwell and thank you to Leanne Ambrose – Customer Service Trainer – who will be leaving us on 11 August
