The Buzz etiquette

The Buzz is a new digital destination for everyone across the Transport cluster, and a place to share comments, questions and ideas with your frolleagues*.

How to buzz best

The Buzz is your space and we want everyone to have a fun, positive experience. Here are a few buzz basics to get you started.

  • Get interactive - if something grabs your attention, take a few moments to like, comment and share it with your frolleagues. You can even share with your friends and family.
  • Get chatting - join a discussion on a hot topic or ask a question of one of our leaders or experts.
  • Blow your own trumpet - send us your buzz ideas so we can spread the word about you or your team's achievements.
  • Avoid FOMO** - Get SMS alerts so you're always up to speed on the latest news.
  • At your fingertips- add the icon to your smart phone or tablet so you can access The Buzz with one click.

When you buzz remember the following:

  1. Keep it nice - don’t write anything online that you wouldn't want your mum to hear.
  2. Be polite, even if you disagree, and keep your posts relevant to the topic.
  3. Use common sense.
  4. Your posts should reflect your own views, not the views of your agency.

*A colleague who you would class as a friend but could never call a friend to their face because it would be kinda uncool.

**Fear of missing out
